My first squirrel i need HELP!!!

I live in columbus Ga and we don't really have a wildlife rehabilitation .. well anything
i don't want it to die according to the web he's about 5-6 weeks old his tail has folded over is back and he goes to the bathroom on his own he's been making a low clicking noise every now and then since i got him ts a bit louder since i fed him though e's energetic when he's awake but he sleeps a LOT.. is he sick i don't really have any money for a vet and all the vets in the area are strictly for cats and dogs any advice 'm really worried about him. I've had him in my care for about 30 hours

Okay, first things first. Do you have him in a container that is half on a heating pad on low? What has he eaten and how much? Where did he come from and was he injured?

Hopefully we have someone close to you. Sometimes they do make a mouth clicking but can you tell if the clicks correspond to the chest movements when it breathes?

If it is pneumonia, the click would be with EVERY breath. Does it sound like that? Or teeth?

he clicks often but not with every breath sometimes he doesn't click at all

i couldn't get him any formula til about 12 hours after i got him bet i did keep him hydrated he drank about a teaspoon or maybe a bit more then that and hasn't really been in an eating mood since but e does drink and pee and poop regularly. he was found in my front yarn and he was not injured.

he spends most of the time sleeping and does't really want to eat much, but when i wake him to eat he usually just climbes around on me looking for a place to curl up and go back to sleep

If it's most of the time, I think you should use antibiotics just in case. We'd need to know his weight in order to dose. You'd have to call around to see if you have any friends with ABs on hand. Cipro and Baytril seem very common. And many pet stores sell ABs for fish, reptiles, and birds under a number of names such as Fish FLox.

at this point the clicking has stopped and he has more energy and he's eating quite normally again today he started to make more if a purring like sound, he still sleeps a lot but when he's awake he hops around and climbs things... he only makes the clicking sound when i wake him suddenly but it stops pretty fast .
