Default Pinkie tip of tail.. is this normal?

I've had it for 4 days, was probably only maybe two days old when it was found. It eats good and poops and pees good . Very spunky and vocal feeling very optimistic for it's survival. It is the youngest one I have rehabbed and I noticed the tip of it tail changing color yesterday and want to see if it was normal...
First pic is from the day it was brought to me and the second is from today.

Hi Kraykray. I wouldn't worry. I see this fairly often with pinkie tails-- the tip gets dark and dry and sometimes even falls off. Just keep an eye out for infection or bleeding.

I defer to IR's judgement here... but maybe grab a magnifying glass and check for a tiny tiny poly-fil fiber wrapped around it. There may've been some in the original nest.
