Here you go. Any pure weigh protein will do. The Henry's Vitaminz packet is essential. I'm not sure, and perhaps the answer will be "No," but perhaps an email to Jay at Henry's might get you a way to get international delivery. If that doesn't pan out, I'd be happy to purchase several packets, have them delivered to my home, and then ship them off to you via UPS/DHL, FedEX, or other. All I'd ask is that you cover the cost. No markups, just the actual cost of the Vitaminz and shipping charges:

    Squirrel Block Recipe
    Squirrel Refuge Version

Preheat oven to 205 degrees Fahrenheit
Prep time 25 Minutes, Bake time 90 Minutes

    Ingredients:
    · 3 cups nuts (walnuts, pecans, almonds, filberts, or a mix of these. Mixing Pecans and Walnuts with one of the other nuts ensures balanced Vitamin E.)
    · 150 grams or 1/3 bag Henry’s Healthy Protein powder
    · 3 Large Eggs
    · 2/3 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
    · 2 tsp Vanilla
    · 2 tsp Aluminum-Free Baking Powder
    · 1 to 2 Tbs water
    · 33 grams or 1/3 bag Henry’s Vita-mins

    Required Recipe Tools
    · Grinder or food processor to finely grind nuts
    · Electric Mixer (standing mixer works great with the bread hook)
    · Gram scale and or measuring cup
    · Rolling Pin
    · Plastic sheet or pastry cloth (preferred) or oiled surface
    · Parchment paper (preferred) or lightly greased cooking sheet
    · Pizza cutter (preferred) or sharp knife

    Preparation
    1. In bowl number 1, measure out whey protein and set aside.
    2. In bowl number 2, break open the three eggs and add vanilla.
    3. In bowl number 3, add the baking powder and Vita-mins.
    4. Grind the nuts as finely as possible (without turning into nut butter).
    5. In bowl number 4, add whole wheat flour and ground nuts.

    Mixing
    5. Place the contents of bowl number 2 into the mixer and mix on medium-high speed until eggs and vanilla are thoroughly combined.
    6. Add the contents of bowl number 3 into the mixer.
    7. Mix medium-high speed, scraping the sides as needed, until smooth.
Note: the baking powder will begin to bubble when added to the wet ingredients and tend to clot until fully combined.
    8. Add the contents of bowl number 1 to the mixer and mix on medium speed until mixed well and fairly smooth. Mixture should be sticky.
    9. Slowly add the contents of bowl number 4 to the mixer, mix on low speed, scraping the sides. The mixture will be dry. If too dry, add a small amount of water.

    Rolling
    10. Roll out dough to 1/3” to 1/2” inch thick and shape into rectangle with your hands. The dough is very thick and somewhat stiff. You did it right if the dough is difficult to roll and shape!
    11. Place the dough on parchment paper or lightly greased baking sheet. Tip: Roll it out on a plastic sheet so it easily transfers to the baking sheet.

    Baking
    12. Bake in oven at 205 degrees Fahrenheit for 90 minutes. The low baking temperature helps keep the vitamin and mineral chemical structure intact making a healthier block.
    13. When done, remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
    14. Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife cut lengthwise 1/2 to 3/4 in apart.
    15. After making all lengthwise cuts, turn and cut crosswise until small cubes are formed.
    16. After cutting, let cool for two hours.
    17. Place on a paper towel to help absorb additional nut oils, if desired.
    Storage
    18. Once completely cool, place block in bag or closed container in the refrigerator (lasts for two to three weeks) or the freezer for longer storage.

(Thanks for posting that recipe Jamie! I do have what may be a simpler solution overall for RobertVincent because with the recipe, he is still without a source for the Henry's Vitamin Pack and obtaining this necessary and very specific ingredient may prove to be a futile endeavor in Indonesia.)

RobertVincent; thanks for finding The Squirrel Board!

Please provide some additional information that would help us help you! Is this request for Rodent Block information in regard to a pet Squirrel that you have or are you looking for Rodent Blocks to feed wild Squirrels? If the Blocks are intended for use with a pet Squirrel, I have several additional questions to ask; 1) what is the name of your Squirrel, 2) what species of Squirrel does he belong to, 3) how old is your Squirrel Squirrel, 4) what comprises your Squirrels diet currently and if a baby and still drinking formula, what type formula is that you are using, 5) is your Squirrel healthy, 6) do you have any prior experience caring for or raising Squirrels or did you raise this Squirrel from a baby (or again, is he still a baby)?

If you are posting about a Pet Squirrel, there are a number of general concerns about care and proper diet and while I do not known what stage in life your Squirrel may be at; for information purposes I am pasting a link to Henry's Guide to Baby Squirrel Care as it may be of significant benefit to you and your Squirrel; https://www.henryspets.com/1-baby-squirrel-care-guide/

In regard to general nutrition recommendations for a pet Squirrel that is able to consume solid food; you are correct in that feeding a Quality Brand of Rodent Blocks is essential! In fact, a quality brand of Rodent Block should comprise at least 80% of a captive Squirrel's diet (beyond formula if not yet weaned)! Foods, other than quality Blocks should be carefully chosen (if used at all) to sustain healthy nutrition and minimize the risk of the Squirrel developing Metabolic Bone Disease (MBD) which is very common in captive Squirrels, is very serious, and is completely avoidable with use of proper diet. MBD results from insufficient Calcium, excessive Phosphorus or usually elements of both! Here is a link to Henry's Healthy Food Pyramid. the least healthy foods are at the tip region of the pyramid and they include nuts, fruits and other treats. Yes, for a captive Squirrel, nuts and fruits are treats and should either not be given at all or very rarely!
    Henry's Food Pyramid; ( https://henryspets.com/healthy-diet-for-pet-squirrels/ )
Here is a link to Henry's information on MBD and this would be great to read as again, all efforts must be made to avoid the occurrence of MBD in a pet Squirrel; ( https://henryspets.com/what-is-metabolic-bone-disease/ )

Getting back to the Rodent Block issue; at least one of the quality Rodent Blocks that we use in the USA; Mazuri Rat and Mouse Diet is available in Indonesia! This can be purchased through Shopee (I don't use this and don't have the app and can't post a link but I know that it is available there) and from Chewee and I do have a link to that particular page on the Chewee site; ( https://chewee.co.id/product/mazuri-...e-dog-hamster/ )

I would strongly suggest obtaining the Mazuri Rat and Mouse Diet Blocks! Also, they may even be available locally at a pet store! Mazuri Blocks can be free fed, meaning the Squirrel can eat as much as he wants each day. An "average" adult Squirrel may consume around 50 Grams of blocks daily but there is a wide variation based upon size and species of Squirrel!

Your Squirrel should also have a safe source of fresh clean water available at all times!

Please post any further questions and please keep us updated on your Squirrel!

    Regards,
    SamtheSquirrel

    Hi Jamie:
Thanks so much for making this offer. I inadvertently missed this when I first looked at your post and before I wrote my response to RobertVincent . It may be that even with your very kind offer, it may prove to be simpler and more expeditious for RV to try to obtain the Mazuri Blocks anyway as his issue was his assessment of there apparently being no availability of ANY appropriate Rodent Blocks in Indonesia. If he can indeed obtain the Mazuri Blocks, this would be a fine option for his Squirrel and he would not need to bake his own! Thanks again Jamie and I apologize for missing your offer to obtain the Vitamins for RV and then send them to him! That was so very kind and considerate of you!
    Regards,
    SamtheSquirrel

No sweat. The request was for a block recipe. As you know, that vitamin pack is critical. The quick answer was to send the recipe and offer help getting the vitamins. No biggie!

    Hi Nutz!

Because we're in the US, and because we have a strong relationship with the people at Henry's, Henry's is our go-to for all things squirrel-nutrition. I have heard from some people in the EU that Henry's is broadening their base. I'm not sure how far they've made it so far. There are many areas, though, that still do not have access to their products and recommendations like yours are enormously helpful in meeting needs in those places.

Are you willing to share what you know about what's in the Nutri-Cal Vitamin Gel? Are you confident that the formula is equivalent to Henry's Vitaminz? Does the formula cover all of the bases?

Looking forward to hearing from you!

    Jamie
