    Default Free feeding, how often?

My littles are about 10.5 weeks old now and love their veggies. All 3 are still taking formula but I was wondering how often should they be “free fed” solids. And how much? Can’t seem to find how much and how often anywhere.
    Thanks in advance!

Hi! I’m looking for solids, the weaning process has started with all 3 (drinking formula less) but I’m asking how often to feed real food. Should they have food available all day? Or fed breakfast lunch dinner… thank you for the info though. I do think we need to cut back a little on formula feeding, we were doing twice a day.
    Thanks again!

My rehab squirrels always have their Teklad blocks available 24/7. Henry blocks are served for breakfast and dinner, along with fresh veggies. Hope that helps.

So, veggies and hhb twice a day?
I’ve read pros and cons about the teklad blocks. Some people don’t like soy and corn ingredients. Have you ever had any issues feeding these?

No, no issues. My squirrels love them so long as they are the FIRST SOLIDS I INTRODUCE. I don't give them any other solids until they are eating their blocks and loving 'em. 😁
