Amox-Clav suspension dosing help needed

Hi there! I have a roughly 9 week old male southern flying squirrel (he came to me on 10.16.23) who's developed AP. Had a friend call in a script for augmentin, its 600mg/5ml (600mg/42.9mg per 5 ml) his current weight is 51g. He's been sneezing or what appears to be sneezing a ridiculous amount along with rubbing his nose and I can hear the clicking noises, his appetite is still present but I can see that starting to fade as his breathing may become more difficult. He is also a bit lethargic, I noticed his behavior shift on Friday evening, the sneezing started Saturday and I've just now gotten my hands on AB's. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You will need a 1 mL syringe to administer. I don't see where anyone has sent dose info by Private Message ??

Nope, not yet and I have plenty of 1cc's, just worried about the taste and/or his interest in consuming it.

Not sure but 600mg/5mL (120mg/1mL) conc into a 51g squirrel might need a smaller than 1mL syringe ??

What strength clavamox do you have? I can certainly send dosing with strength of med and weight of squirrel.

He is doing SOOOO MUCH better! I was a little under the weather last week and my husband had to help out with some of the meds and probiotics and he kept making gradual improvement but as of last night and ESPECIALLY this morning he is like a brand new boy. That is to say he's acting like his old self again running jumping climbing on everything and playing peekaboo, breathing is almost 100% back to normal, still has a little "sniffle" but his demeanor and activity level are right were they were before the 23rd when he started showing symptoms. Thanks again to everyon for all of your help and concern!

I really need help I had a lil squirrel that aspirated on his formula and hasn’t well since he has the clicking in his breathing and seems like in his upper chest area there is a lil inflammation. I have amoxicillin and cipro but I need help on dosing and which to give him. He currently weighs 57 grams y’all please help me

What is the strength of the Cipro you have?

That is 500mg. If you have any more, label them so you know next time.

You MUST have a 1ml syringe to do all of this - larger will not work, plus you should be feeding with nothing larger than 1ml too.
