Default Three new babies not pooping

I have three babies I’m thinking about five weeks cause they’re eyes just opened a friend of mine is a logger and found them they took a big fall and mom as well as 4 other babies didn’t make it. I have been feeding 3 parts goats milk to 1 part cream and Pedialyte in between feedings I feed every four hours they are eating about 2ccs of milk and 2 ccs Pedialyte although sometimes they will eat 3-4ccs milk depending on how hungry they are. I’ve had them for three days now and they seem to be doing well other then when I first got them they were close to death and I had to tube feed them cause they wouldn’t take anything (the first day and night I did only Pedialyte every 2 hours) the little female is 103 grams and she has pooped once the first boy is 97grams and hasn’t pooped and the second boy is 105 grams and hasn’t pooped either. I’ve tried little baths and tummy massages and it didn’t really seem to help much they just had little tiny hard dark balls of poop but it doesn’t seem like enough poop for how much they are eating. They are still eating well I have tried to offer solid food and they didn’t want it I’m not sure what to do at this point any advise would be great

Try dropping the Pedialyte - it really shouldn't be fed for more than a day or two tops, then if dehydration is still present, replaced with water.

Your babies should be eating more than 2cc a feeding at 5 weeks and it may be that they are full of hydration fluid and so not hungry.

The goats milk is a good temporary stopgap but the babies should really be put on Esbilac powdered puppy milk replacement. It has the nutrients they need and which may be missing from the goat milk. Switching formulas should be done VERY SLOWLY, gradually introducing more and more of the new formula and reducing the old.

They can only poop out solids and there isn't a lot of solids in what you are feeding, plus the quantity is too low. There isn't enough in there yet to poop out.

THANK YOU I will go out and get some now I was told it was better for them how would you recommend switching them over?

In the syringe draw up 75% of what you're currently giving and 25% of the Esbilac formula (after sitting for a few hours in fridge--two parts water/one part powder. Don't use the liquid formula, only the powder). Do this for a day, then the next day half and half, then the following day 25% your formula 75% Esbilac and finally, next day full strength.

Once they are fully hydrated and you're on a feeding schedule and they are eating the Esbilac it will offer nutrition and hydration. Always watch for good poops and soft bellies.

They are fed by weight. A 90 g baby should be getting 4.5 ml every 4 hours (5% of their weight --weight in grams x 0.05 = ml's to feed at each feeding). The 100 g babies will get 5 ml each feeding. You can take a 6-7 hour sleep break at night when they are stable and hydrated.

You want to use a syringe and nipple (not a bottle) and no larger than a 3 ml syringe to avoid aspiration into the lungs.

Here's a great site detailing set up, hydration info, etc. https://www.henryspets.com/1-basic-setup/
