Just look at these little munchkins.
You have done one heck of an amazing job!

That squirrel treehouse is such a great idea.
Do they actually go into the little houses?

On your last photo, it says he's eating an acorn.
Just wanted to post a warning about acorns.

While the title says frozen, we currently have a sick little squirrel
    from suspected acorns.
Some people still feed them if they pick them from the tree.
With so many other choices, I prefer not to.
If you give a nut to a squirrel, offer a couple, they can "supposedly" sniff
out a bad nut and will not take it.

Quick story. I used to throw tons of nuts out on my deck forthe squirrels.
I saw this one pecan being overlooked by every single squirrel,
though they did sniff it, they did NOT take it.
I retrieved it and opened it up, and it was black inside.
    Makes you wonder.

Hi Nancy! Thank you! Yes, unfortunately that is an acorn and I did recently read that acorns were not a good choice. I have stopped giving them acorns because of the dangers I read about YIKES!!!! Thankfully none of the darlings were harmed or got sick or God forbid anything else! Today I attempted to make homemade rodent blocks and I'm happy to say they are happily munching away right now! And yes they all go into their own home and sometimes they decide to snuggle together (two at a time).

It is very adorable, but it the TV hutch what you use as their primary housing (cage)? If so I would be weary, as soon they will start to chew on everything and I would be concerned they'll chew right through the back where the venting is for the TV. When they get to be 12 weeks or so, they will be able to chew though that in a N.Y. minute... and then you'll have 4 little ones on the loose!
