Default 6 to 7 week old squirrel with possible break/fracture

Hey guys, I need a little help. My sister and I have gained the reputation of squirrel care givers in our town apparently. We have received 6 new squirrels in the last month and its getting to be too much. I have three babies that are doing great and sis has two. She was just given a new one today that I wished they would have left for the mom to take care of. He's about 6 to 7 weeks old. Healthy and looks great. He's not aggressive at all, but has a problem with his back right leg. Its cold to the touch and he will not move it. It appears that its either broken or dislocated. I don't see any blood and when he let me touch it I didn't feel anything out of the ordinary besides it being cold and seemingly dead. Help! I can't take on any more babies and I don't have the means to mend a broken leg. Can anyone give me a number to a rehabber? None of the vets close by will help, they all say its not possible to operate on a squirrel because they cannot be put under. What do I do?

    PS pic coming soon

Need to give this a bump....
We do have Fla. members, geographically I'm not familiar with Fla to know who may be closer.
Hopefully you'll get a Fla members attention if it's still needed.

I did PM a vet's info from the list I keep. Not as close as would be best, but she is going to call them and see if they might know someone closer.

You are about an hour and a half from Hilliard FL just north of Jacksonville. There is an excellent rehab facility there owned by a member of TSB. His user name is magna.

Anne and Jonathan work together. There is contact information on his website. He does have a vet that he works with. He runs a top notch operation.

  8. 2 TSBers pass along the fuzzy thanks to HRT4SQRLS:
