Default 6 week old grey, broken fingers!! :(

Baby grey a few days over 6 weeks. He somehow managed to get his fingers caught in a fan cover (Those portable fans you can carry from room to room). He immediately freaked out and started trying to release himself, I'm sure he must have twisted them quite a bit. I have no idea how he managed to get his fingers caught in there since slits on the cover are very thin, but he got his two biggest fingers caught somehow, and I had to use pliers to get them out!

From what I can tell, it's just the two fingers that are broken. He doesn't seem to mind when I touch his arm, or hand, but he isn't using it at all right now. I read on here that it should heal on its own pretty fast? The only exotic vet here is ridiculously expensive and wont accept wild animals as far as I know.

Will he be okay? I feel terrible about this he doesn't seem to mind all that much, still bouncing around and climbing, but I'm still worried. I know I can give him infant ibuprofen but I have no way of weighing him so I can't make out a dosage.. I just want to know that he'll be okay, thanks.

If you post a picture someone can probably estimate the weight for dosing Ibuprofen. Not ideal versus weighing, but the ibuprofen can be dosed at the low end based upon an estimate and be relatively safe (little risk of overdose). Dosing at the lower end is probably good anyways, since you'd want only to "take the edge off" and not completely eliminate the pain (which may pose a risk of further injury if he ignores his hurt foot).

I have little experience with broken toes, but I suspect he'll recover in time. And I don't think the vet could do much more than pain relief.
