    Hi BedHeadRed:
I am not a Vet and I only have a moment as I am at work but I did notice your new thread. I mainly wanted to make you aware of an important issue pertaining to your antibiotic and its use for treating what you suspect is your dog's condition!.

Is you dog a puppy or an adult of a small breed? Do you have a Veterinarian for your dog? It is always best to utilize the expertise of a Veterinarian when you dog is ill and I would suggest contacting your Vet immediately if you have one or if not, please try to find a Vet!

Also of great importance is the fact that Azithromycin is NOT a suitable medication for treating a UTI because very little, if any of the drug ends up in the urinary system as it is almost exclusively eliminated by the body via the biliary pathway from the liver. Do you have any other antibiotics available?
    Regards,
