Hi, I'm a long-time listener, first-time caller. My wife and I live in Birmingham, England, and have grey squirrels in our garden. One became tame enough to come close while we were in the garden, and one day he had a chunk out of his ear. We didn't see him for a while, and then a few weeks later a tame squirrel started coming up to us again, but with a perfectly good ear.

Is it possible that this is the same squirrel, and that his ear grew back OK? Or is that not possible, and it would be a different squirrel?

Thanks loads! Dave.

It will heal, but if part of it was removed, that part is gone perminently.
