    Default Is she melanated?

So Sisu’s fur development is behind due to her having to heal out so much stuff and I thought she was a Fox, but her fur doesn’t look like the pictures of baby Fox squirrels. It’s coming in quite dark with tan only on her eyelids and her snoot, and by her ears. Her paws don’t have fuzz yet, and her tail had the slightest hint of cinnamon at the end but the rest is coming in super dark. Is she melanated, or is her fur just wonky because she’s behind? (Not that it matters, more curiosity)

She was 4 weeks yesterday and is 54 grams.

I do believe she's a grey squirrel, her coloring is perfect.

She’s been putting on nearly 5 grams a day the last few days! I love it so much she’s even started chirping when she’s hungry and it’s so cute 😍

Oh I have no doubt 😂

She was so insistent on food (while I was letting it warm up) that she tried to climb up my partner’s nose rooting around and it was hilarious 😂
