Help! I have a baby about 5 weeks old (her eyes are still closed but her siblings are open). She just started making a clicking sound, not enthusiastic about eating. What do I need to do??

Babies with aspiration pneumonia need to be treated ASAP with antibiotics. Cipro (Baytril) or Clavamox are two good AB. You only need a single pill. Do you have any ABs available? We can help with dosing. We do need a weight in order to get dosing amounts directions ready for you.

How is your little one doing?
I gave instructions for dosing this baby last night. I received a PM from the mom.
The only antibiotic available was amoxicillin. I pray that Lilly is OK.
