    Question Darla - Seizures

Sweet little Darla I took in Monday morning is doing better as far as her back leg is doing since I started the Prednisone & Tramadal this morning,
now I am concerned about her and the possibility of seizures. She seems to pulling to right with her head and body then shaking a little after she
has eaten or drank some formula. Can eating bring a seizure and should I start giving her tums with calcium in it? Thank you.

I'm not sure calcium will help with seizures. It could be a reaction to the medication (prednesone). I would just keep malassas on hand to help her through the seizure, if she has on.
RIP my sweet Rex , Hanzel , Gem . Wait for me at the Rainbow Bridge.

I will give her molasses the next time I notice a seizure like fit --my dog is also on Prednisone atm for a skin disorder due to allergies
to fleas and these are the possibly side effects from the Pred. none of which are poss seizure, but one never knows.

Prednisone may result in these side effects:
    Increased drinking and urination
    Altered behavior
    Inhibited growth in young pets
    Diabetes after prolonged use
    Cushing’s disease after prolonged use
    Panting
    Vomiting
    Diarrhea
    Ulceration of the digestive tract
    Lethargy
    Aggression
    Delayed healing
