    Default Bedding question.

I just got 3 new babies about 3-4 weeks old. Their eyes look like they could open any day. Anyway, the tree cutters brought them to me with their nest. One has a nasty looking scratch across his arm, but no break. I have never really had the actual real life, momma-made nest for babies before and i kinda hate to uproot them. However, they have fleas and I am going to pick up some diatomaceous earth tomorrow. My question is should I keep the nest for them to stay in (after I treat it of course) or should I get them cleaned up and in a proper human-momma made home? Any thoughts?

Human made mama home. It will be much easier to monitor poops, keep them clean, etc., and the fact of the matter is, squirrels LOVE that super soft microfleece. Believe me, if it hung from trees by the bolt, they would use it instead of dumb old chewed up leaves in a New York Minute!

But I would sure hang on to the nest!

That is what I was hoping someone would tell me. They do love that fleece don't they? Okay, out the door with that flea infested stump. Thank you!
