The squirrel is drinking water and eating plenty of veggies and nuts now. He seems to be moving better also, but I'd say he still isn't 100%. How do I know when he is ready to go back outside?
Can you describe how he's moving or tell us what makes you think it's not 100%? Vids would be great. Also, could you go to a pet store and buy some Kaytee Forti-Diet rodent blocks and see if he'll eat them?
Before he would seldomly move but now when I open the tub he is attempting to escape by standing on his back legs but he can't stand on them for long. It is his back right leg that he hurt. I will try to post a video soon. And I will go pick the blocks up today.
The blocks are really important, but don't worry if it takes a while for him to eat them. You are doing a good job with him for sure...![]()
Squirrels, squirrels and more squirrels....
Prayers for the people who make this a better world...

I don't have any video of him moving yet. He gets scared when I'm around so he freezes up. His back left leg is still not healed. He tends to fall when too much pressure is put on it. He is eating and drinking. Is there anything else I can do to help him? I also noticed today that he seems to spacey. I'm worried there he could have suffered head trauma, is there anyway to figure that out?
Sorry no one responded. Can you give a pic of the wound or vid of his moments?
