    Jace,
    Sorry about Rosie.
Do you dilute the Goat milk with water BEFORE making the formula? The canned GM is concentrated and needs to be diluted.

Oh my, the clicking is bad. That is probably pneumonia from aspirating. Do you have antibiotics available? He probably is fevered so he is moving away from the heat.

OK, first, do not give him the opportunity to get off the heat. Move the entire enclosure over the heating pad - NO cool spots.

We will deal with the clicking if it continues - if you have any antibiotics or your friends do, this would be a good time to go looking. Cipro is best. Baytril for animals is the same thing. Amoxicillen. See what you can find.

Don't feed for right now, but he desperately needs regular hydration. You don't want to trigger more vomiting though, so give him a few drops to half a ccc and then back onto the heat...in ten or 15 minutes, another few drops, back to the heat, and so on. Use either our homemade hydration solution or pedialyte - I like homemade because it has less weird chemicals in it:

    1 teaspoon salt
    3 Tablespoons sugar
    1 quart water

It should be given to him quite warm. A little tiny bit at a time, monitoring for more vomiting - if that happens, back off - do half as much, but he needs hydration.

I had been waking up to check on him every hour and when I checked at about 6 I noticed he'd really started failing. I called my vets emergency number but in the thirty minutes between the call and getting to see the vet he passed a way. The vet took a look and I described his symptoms and he said it sounded like viral pneumonia and that there wasn't really any thing to be done.
