Also, NOTHING I have suggested can cause ANY harm so it's very safe (aside from the obvious dangers of tooth trimming in itself) and if anything changes you'll know it's time to take a step to the Vet! Good luck with this beautiful little girl!! Oh and I ask about diet b/c improper diet can make their bones and teeth weak which could have potentially caused the tooth to break. Of course, will and playful babies can cause that too

Yes she's on FV. I put HHB with her but she won't touch it. However, she's gnawing on maple branch a lot.

The maple branch is good and so is the FV. She probably just hit it on something while they were playing. I've put a call in to Jackie to see if she has anything else to advise! I'll let you know ASAP if she suggests anything different! I know the sharp edges of that tooth need to go and that you'll have to even them out for her, but anything else I wouldn't be comfortable advising.

And she'll eventually nibble on the HHB. Give her time

Thanks a lot for your help it's really appreciated!! I'll have pliers and file by tomorrow. So I trimm the lower right (longer one) and file the black one without trimming it? And I was wondering, since the lower incisor will be trimm will her upper incisor need trimming too? Or will the upper incisor adjust properly in due time?

    Edit: Contacting Jackie right now!

If she's gnawing like crazy she's already trying to file them down herself. Correct, I wouldn't try to trim the broken one, it's already quite short. I'd just make sure she can't gash herself with it PER Jackie. You may not be able to trim the other one down for her short enough, so you may have to trim it more than once. Please make sure you read Jackie's teeth trimming guide thoroughly. She is THE SQUIRREL GURU for sure. <MISSED ALREADY I MIGHT ADD!!!> The uppers should file themselves down as she chews. Their teeth being approximately the same length is what allows them to gnaw them down themselves (evenly anyway). I'd leave the uppers alone and just keep watch, trim the long bottom one a bit (and again when it grows out some), and file the broken one and let it grow back out! Again, I wouldn't advise on anything else with it, this is all I'm comfy with. Just keep an eye on it, talk to Jackie or I will, whichever of us gets her first.

It's all good. We'll git her done. I'm sorry you waited so long for a response. I saw it but figured Jackie would come on. I've only got general knowledge so I hesitated to respond and I imagine others didn't respond for the same reasons. We try not to let that happen... I'll be checking in on you!!

To anyone that might find themselves in a similar situation, here is what I did yesterday with the advice* I received for this unfortunate event:
After a thorough inspection, no damages were done to the gum. So I filed the broken tooth to prevent problem when grooming. The uneven tooth should fix itself, in due time, by gnawing(i.e. maple branch). Berry seems lively and playful like always so that's a good thing! I'll keep an eye on her teeth and update if any issues arise, but I think everything will be alright. :-D

To everyone for your help, advice and story, here is pictures as thank you :-)

*Special thanks to Jackie in Tampa

1st one is Conker(male) the other two are Berry
