How long have you had him? Could you put up a pic so we could get a better idea of his age?

When did you get him? Do you have any idea when his eyes opened, or were they open when you found him? When did he stop taking formula? What are you currently feeding him?

To be honest, I'm not exactly sure a homeless man found him and was standing at a store and I offered to take him to try to keep him alive. He was old enough to not need formula at the time, but he was still a tiny baby that fit in the palm of your hands. He was drinking regular milk water chewing on peanuts that I got and crushed up for him. Crackers, bread, fruits. I'm just afraid he doesn't know how to find out his own. I have only had him since the storm. He has grown tremendous since then

I’m going to send you some names of rehabbers in your area that you can contact about taking him. Notifications are accessed at the top of the screen.

Formula should be given till they are about 9-12 weeks old. I feel that this little one was not given it long enough. Peanuts are one of the worst nuts for squirrels and all nuts are not healthy for them. If he has teeth he needs to be eating a rodent block and healthy veggies from this list. https://thesquirrelboard.com/forums/...-Pet-Squirrels

    Edit: Names sent

I’m not close to St. Petersburg (it’s a few hrs drive) but I have large cages and could overwinter him. My giant release cage was damaged in the storm but I can fix that by springtime. He might not need overwintering but I wouldn’t know until I saw him and could more appropriately gage his development. Anyway, thank you for helping this baby and doing your best. It’s really very sweet.
