Flea Treatment for Young Squirrel

We have an 8 week old that has a minor case of fleas as we got him at roughly six weeks. I would like advice on a safe flea treatment as I know how sensitive they are and some flea treatments are very harmful. I am anxious to help him, and us frankly, but want to be cautious. Any advice is super appreciated. He is our 7th rescue and all others were raised from pinkies or weeks old and thus had no fleas.

A bath in soapy dish water (Dawn is the best of course) should do the trick. Be sure to dry him thoroughly after and keep warm until his fur completely dries. Change all the linens and clean his housing at the same time.

Capstar / Capguard (nitenpyram) is a relatively safe med that can be used but if this is a mild case, I would simply give a good bath. If you feel you want to use this let use know and we'll provide instructions.

I place 1 drop of revolution (selamectin - The plain one, not any of the ones with other ingredients (plus and what not)) on the back of the neck before placing my releases in the release cage, and while Revolution is generally safe I prefer not to use before 3 months. Revolution requires a vet prescription in the US.
