Diarrhea and skin irritation!!! 🐿🛖🌋

Scrat is a 9 month old guy that Got diarrhea about a week ago. I was able to get it to kind of clear up by just pushing fluids really. He has not acted abnormal through this just more tire than usual at this point. Has gotten worse and is now very smelly and passing mucus and stool. I've asked for the metro dosing chart multiple times and can't seem to get anyone to share it with me. His whole rectal. Area at this point is swollen from him rubbing up against anything he can. He is also constantly pushing like he is trying to go. I hate seeing him like this and firmly believe he needs antibiotics. I do have them on hand metronidazole 500 mg tabs and 250 mg tabs. Please help us he is sooooo uncomfortable and this kills me.
We are open to suggestions.

We don't have a chart for dosing metro - we do all antibiotics case by case because there are so many different size pills, suspensions, etc.

Supply us with Scrat's weight and I will be happy to give you the directions to dilute and dose it for you.
