We have a male wild fox squirrel (named: Mustache) who appears to have vision problem when up close. No problem with far vision (20 feet) seeing me from the fence. But when he comes close for a walnut, he zig-zags towards me and sometimes misses the nut hitting my hand instead. Its almost like he can't see directly in front of himself and twist his head to see. Could his eyes be too far back to see directly forward ?? Any thoughts ??
