how long for hair to grow back?

after finding an ophan that was about 4-5 weeks, his hair started falling out and had ruff bumpy, flaking skin. I treated him with revolution and he lost about 75% of his fur. His skin is nice and smooth and was wondering how long before it starts growing back?

Well his nose is certainly furry!

They are genetically programmed to shed and regrow their coats twice a year - Spring and Fall, and if the air loss is right before that happens, it will regrow really fast because it was set up to do that regardless. If it is off season it can take a little longer. Once it gets going though, it grows really fast. Just keep the little one warm until he can do that himself. his little nose looks a bit orange, i treated him 2x a day with a bit of diluted betadine solution and alternated with a bit of coconut oil, It definitely helped with his dry, itchy and abrasions from scratching. He looks litle a old little shrunken squirrel without his fur lol poor guy
