Default 5-6 week old grey AP

    Hi,
I have a 5-6 week old grey baby. Pretty sure he is developing aspiration pneumonia. The people that had him before I got him were giving him cow’s milk and I’m pretty sure he aspirated at some point. Vets here won’t help me. Any human antibiotics I can give him? I have a few meds for our dogs as well.
I do have augmentin that was for my 1 year old toddler. I do not have baytril or clavamox and don’t think I can get my hands on any in the next few days. (Hurricane coming through).
Any help is greatly appreciated. I want this guy to make it so badly!

    Thanks!

Is the Augmentin in liquid form? How old is it... it is only good for 14 days stored in the fridge after the water has been added. If it is still good, what is its strength (e.g. 125 mg+31.25mg per 5ml).

Other antibiotics that can treat AP include Cipro, Bactrim (SMZ/TMP), Doxycycline and amoxicillin... there are some other less common ones too... if you have any antibiotics post the name ans strength along with the weight of the squirrel.

What part of N.C. are you located?

Please go to a pill identifier - here is one, there are lots on the internet: https://www.webmd.com/pill-identification/default.htm and make absolutely certain that what you have is plain amoxicillin 500mg and not Amoxicillin clavulanate 500/125mg. Both can be used, the second is the actual drug name of Augmentin. But we need to know for sure to dose properly.

And no Cipro? You mentioned you might have some earlier.
