Default Lactol... when nothing else is available

I'm in Costa Rica. I'm waiting for my Fox Valley to arrive here. Some times it will be held up in customs for a week.My Fox Valley formula is gone TODAY. all I have left is Lactol.. my 2 young 8-week-old tree squirrels are refusing the ,Lactol. I am asking if anyone has used this product is there anything that I can add to it to make it more tasty to my two little friends until my Fox Valley arrives .???

When we realized our Fox Valley supply was diminishing we started slowly reducing the percentage. The last two feedings for 20% Fox Valley 80% lactol and they took it.
When I tried to go 100% lactol ...they both refused it I have a problem.
    I need your help

Ooooh, so sorry to hear of your dilemma! You probably know as much as or more than most people though as for tricks to get them to eat. Maybe sweeten it a bit? Add some heavy whipping cream?

Hoping your FV gets there FAST!

They don't happen to sell Royal Canin Babydog down there, do they?

This morning I added a little vanilla yogurt to the Lactol. My golden squirrel took it with a six to one ratio . 6 cc Lactol 1 cc yogurt . The gray guy refused. I waited 2 hours... upped the yogurt to one and a half CC's for six cc Lactol and I managed to get 12 CC's into him.
I'm glad that there's something in their stomachs.

Flavored yogurt makes the formula taste a lot better, as you can see. Do you guys have heavy cream available to you? That boosts the flavor too, in fact most flyer people use formula with heavy cream and yogurt almost as a matter of course.

Clearly you thought you were done with squirrels. But everyone knows you are the squirrel people - you are going to have to move where nobody knows you! Until then, ya better keep your FV and HHB larder full!
