    Default Help with prednisone dosing

My boyfriend found a squirrel that had obviously been hit by a car or something along those lines. The squirrel looks to be an adolescent. She keeps running in circles. I think she is also blind. She can’t keep her balance. We rehabilitated two other squirrels last year so we’ve done quite a bit of research. Should we give her prednisone? Can someone help me with the dosing amount? She’s 100 times better than she was a few days ago but still has a long road ahead. Any helpful info would be great. Thanks!

You are on the right track. Do you have any prednisone? We will need to know the size of the pills in milligrams and the weight of your squirrel, preferably in grams though we can of course convert. YOU will need a 1ml syringe or smaller (no needle) that has clear markings on the barrel to measure the doses with. If you can provide us with the info, we can send you specific directions by PM to first dilute the pills and then to dose the resulting mixture.
