Swollen baby squirrel hip

Has anyone ever seen something like this before? This is Angel, she came to us Feb 13 and was approximately 2 weeks old. She is probably 4 weeks now. Three days ago we noticed redness on her hip, the next day it was swollen. Today is day two of swelling. I separated her from her litter mates. Any thoughts as to what it may be?? There are no other skin issues or swollen areas.

I would say that is an abscess of some sort. The big question is: is it just in the skin or is the joint involved, too? Any chance of this little one seeing a vet?
