Exclamation Why my 6weeks baby squirrel is not drinking?

Day1 : I found 2 baby squirrel recently (3 days ago), they were pretty bad condition, (dehydrated, but no injuries) and also were making loud noises. I immediately placed them in my shoe box and provided some clothes to warm them up.
As i didn't know anything about squirrels, i watched some quick YouTube videos and tried them to feed milk with syringe (as i estimated they were 5-6weeks old).
But they weren't drinking the milk, so i put that in 2 bottle caps, placed in front of them and went for dinner. When I came back, they finished the milk.
    I was relieved!!
Day 2: Then came another problem. Then next day, i noticed that they won't eat or drink anything during the day, but at night 10pm, they'll drink the milk placed in the bottle caps in front of them. And the more interesting fact is that they will drink the whole days(4 time feeding) worth of milk in one go.
Yesterday (day 3): they haven't drink or eat anything at day time....also at night 10pm, so i tried to force some milk through their mouth, but don't know why they don't want to drink!!
Edit: The weird fact is, without drinking how they're so energetic? The instance i bring them out of the box, they run in my whole room like crazy! Also seems like they try to climb everything.
One more thing, right now I'm giving them powdered milk mixed with warm water. I've ordered cerelac but they'll arrive some 3 days later.

Hi! Unfortunately we don't have a lot of info on your palm squirrels. Here is what a member in India kindly posted regarding palm squirrels:

If you can get the formula recommended by Zonitium, hopefully they will accept it. I hope you can get them to take the syringe. That way you can be sure how much each one is getting. It is possible they don't like the temperature, although I would have suggested making sure it is warm enough, but if they're drinking it from a bottle cap that doesn't seem to be the issue. Do you have nipples for the syringe or are you trying to use just the syringe? If you can get nipples that would be a lot safer, but if they won't use a syringe at all that won't matter. But it's best to try as much as you can.

The biggest worry with babies is aspiration pneumonia, caused by inhaling formula. It is fatal without antibiotic treatment. Since they are already drinking from the bottle caps, the best thing to prevent AP is to only have the tiniest bit of formula in the cap, so they can't put their mouth in deep enough to get the formula in their nostrils. This may be hard to do since they already have been drinking, and if they wait until 10 pm to eat they must be ravenous. That will make them more likely to drink too quickly or carelessly. That is all I can think of for now. Hopefully you can get the formula recommended without too much difficulty. Proper nutrition is very important.

Poster put up two identical threads, but has not been back to the board since then.

Thanks. When I saw the post that StS bumped, the only info I could find here was the thread I linked to. Didn't know the poster had another thread. I just put a thread over in the Palm Squirrel forum with your link so others can find it quickly in future. (If that was inappropriate, someone please fix, delete, etc.) There was only one thread there with the info Zonitium provided. I hope s/he comes back and gives an update.
