    Default Vet in North Carolina

Hello everyone! I am new here and am the caretaker/mama of Joon the Squirrel. I am moving to NC and am in search of a vet in North Carolina who is safe to take Joon to in case of an emergency. I am unlicensed and would like one who would not take Joon away as he is well-cared for in his home. Thank you all so much!

I’ll be moving to Raleigh as a matter of fact. I’ve looked up their website before but it says that wild animals will be turned over to licensed rehabbers and not their unlicensed presenters .

They may have to say that, but if you call and ask them, they do not do that. Many have even traveled from out of state to see Dr. Dan with no issue.

Thank you! It sets me at ease to know there will be a reliable place close by incase of an emergency.

I was just there with my squirrel Ashley last Wednesday. We've been there (4) times now in the past few years. You are safe with them.
