Default Indian Palm Squirrel Scared and Jumping

One of my squirrel is too much scared of me and also is not walking properly. He used to be fine when he was a baby but now he is very much afraid of me . A few days ago we got his upper teeth cut (it became so big and long that it started sticking out of his mouth). But this behavior of him actually started a few months ago (2 I guess). But he was happy and was playing so I was fine with him being a little afraid. I used to give food and pated him and he was happy. But now he is too much scared of me.
Also one of the bigger problem is he is walking weirdly. He doesn't "run", what he does is " jump+run" (You can see the gif that is attached). I am doing everything possible but can't get any real help from him. The vet says he has not seen such problem before. So please help you guys 🙏🙏. Please🙏

Age of my squirrel: nearly 1 year

The image that I see isn't animated, there is no motion. If you post a short video to YouTube and post the link here in this thread we ought to be able to see it.

A squirrel's personality does change as they get older.

Also, if I remember correctly these squirrels go outside sometimes. Correct me if I am wrong. As they spend time outside they realize that they are squirrels and that it isn't normal for humans and squirrels to interact physically. We call this wilding up so they begin to avoid humans, even the one that raised them.

Secondly, sometimes something can happen and the squirrel can think that you caused the injury or the fall when in reality they might have made an impulsive jump that went badly. This could be the cause of some of the fear.

If he is walking strangely it sounds like he took a bad fall, maybe onto a hard surface, and that the injury didn't heal well.

If the awkward way of moving turns out to be permanent one way to help is to provide him food so that he doesn't have to spend a lot of time searching for it. The other way to help is to provide a safe, secure place for him to sleep, maybe even building a small nest box.

It is possible that some prednisone might help but that is most effective when administered soon after the injury occurs.
