Started noticing hair loss

Hi all - I have started noticing a spot of hair loss on my indoor/outdoor 8 month old boy Lucky (see attached photos). The spot has been growing so I wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts about the potential cause and how to treat/manage if an issue. The photos are not very good quality but there is still some short fur there, not completely bald. The skin underneath seems normal. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

Is it possible it’s being rubbed off? It doesn’t look like ringworm or mange. You can always try putting betadine on it. Dilute about 25 drops of betadine in 1/4 -1/2 cup of warm water and apply it to the area a couple of times a day. No need to rinse it just let it air dry. It doesn’t dry with any residue. Betadine is anti-fungal and anti-bacterial.
