    Default Bump on Penis

    Hi Everyone !

I have a beautiful 5 years 11 month year old male Grey Eastern Squirrel that I rescued when he was about 5 weeks old. He gets his daily Henry Blocks (twice daily), and vegetables and some
fruits through out the day. As of today... he seems healthy and active.

Recently I noticed he has a bump on the right side of his penis and I'm a bit concerned. The skin on the bump seems not broken. I feel no scabs and its not oozing out anything. So far he is urinating normal. The only other thing that I have noticed is that he is sucking more then usual (he usually sucks one time in the morning and thats it). Unfortuantely, I'm thinking the worse ! Could it be a tumor? .....Or maybe an irritation from an insect bite or from sucking or maybe genital disease..... Does anybody know what this can be ? I him so much and I want him to be well

    Thank You !

Some males do have a tendency to "service" themselves but he shouldn't be suckling himself at all and that appears to be the cause of his problem.
Why he's doing it is likely another issue. You stated he's urinating normal, does he have a good flow? Strong odor and or strong color?

Thank you for responding ! Strong odor: once it dries, Color: clear medium yellow and Flow: has always been exactly like the video link below...go to 1:27 on the video and that squirrel urinates exactly like my squirrel. Its drops but a lot of urine comes out. Its like an illusion or something. weird !

If you part the fur around his genitals, do you detect any other bumps? or any in the groin or his belly/torso anywhere?

My darling Scooter, beloved Hami, sweet gentle Simon... YOU are the ones who brought that magic in my life. You've changed the way I see all things around me now and, because of you, I want to be a better person. This is not goodbye, my sweethearts. You be at peace, your work here on earth is done... now you are finally, truly free. Until we meet at the Bridge again, please remember that I will always love you.

Do you have a vet that will see him, if necessary? There are several throughout Florida, the best one being a little far from you in Port Orange. There is also a vet in Deerfield Beach that sees squirrels, which is probably the closest to you.

Hi Mel1959, No I currently do not have a Vet. I've been searching online this past weekend for an experienced trustworthy vet (not easy) close to me just in case. Do you have the information to the one in Deerfield Beach ?

    Thank You !
