Mix up enough FV to last for about a day. It’s best that it sit for at least an hour before feeding. Store the remaining bag of powder in the refrigerator or freezer. Smell your FV and be sure it’s not rancid. What is the expiration date? Rancid formula is a problem and can cause diarrhea in itself.

They had Bactrim in tractor supply also. Should I try that?
RockyPops (04-30-2020)
Not it. I read it wrong

No but I will go back and ask

Ashlie, you can order Baycox from this website: https://www.beardeddragon.co/index.p...product_id=246 Get the liquid form if there’s a choice and we can dose it for you.
In the meantime try switching over to the goats milk formula. We recommend transitioning slowly so it doesn’t cause diarrhea but....you should probably do it somewhat gradually.
Are you hydrating since they have diarrhea. I’d recommend it in between feedings.

Thank you. I will order baycox. I am hydrating in between feeding. I am going to switch them over to goats milk. I’m afraid the fox valley is spoiled. How do I transition?
RockyPops (04-30-2020)
What makes you think it’s spoiled? Does the powder smell old or does it smell sweet, like vanilla? Fox Valley smells good in its powdered state.
If it’s truly rancid then I don’t think I’d worry about transitioning. I’d just mix up the goats milk formula (you must have the whipping cream and the yogurt, not just straight goats milk) and start feeding it. They can’t remain on the goats milk formula indefinitely. It doesn’t have enough nutrients. So.....you can order another bag of Fox Valley20/50 or order Royal Canin Baby Dog formula. It comes from the UK so the shipping on top of the formula cost makes it a little pricey. Other folks have had good luck with another product called Zoological Milk Matrix which is much the same as Fox Valley. There are many versions of it to match up to the different species of wild animal you’re trying to feed.

I know it’s been a couple of days since I’ve replied to this thread but I’ve had my babies on the goat milk formula and they have done well and their poop was brown and solid and now the boy has yellow poop and my girl has blood colored poop. I’ve done everything everyone has told me I’m not sure what’s wrong now. I ordered the baycox it has not shipped yet.
