    Default Metacam Dosing

    I just received a fox squirrel today with a broken leg. He weighs 332g. I have meloxicam 7.5mg tablets

    Yes, I am going to splint it. He screams in pain when I touch his leg, I was thinking giving metacam first and letting that kick in before ? I was trained in avian rehab, this is my first year with mammals, so it’s a whole new world. Any advice is greatly appreciated ��

    Do you have a vet that will see this little one?

    I assume it is that rear leg that is fractured... can you get a picture of that?

    Yes, I do have a vet that will see him

    He’s black The only one I saw out there, the others were all grey. He was found on a golf course by a lady that saw him dragging himself with his front legs. The back left leg doesn’t seem to be injured, moves and uses it normally.
