Mouth bleeding once all of a sudden plz help

My baby just opened his eyes yesterday I feed him every three hours and he always seems to be wanting the food so bad he can't stand it he's eating about 5 ml anyway I have a original mirical sryinge anyway I fed him five mins ago and at the end of the feeding I pulled out the nipple and there was BLOOD!! I LOOKED ALL IN HIS MOUTH IT MAYBE COULD HAVE BEEN HIS BOTTOM GUMS BUT I CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHERE OR WHY!!! IS HE OK

He is probably teething.
We have seen this a lot and it's enough to make you
want to rush them to the emergency room.
You might notice this for a couple more feedings
and then it will disappear.
Let us know if it continues, but I suspect it won't.

O goodness thanks so much I freaked out he's always acting panicy for some reason like he's not gonna get to eat I have to hold him close and talk him down let him grab ahold of the syringe with me and I thought this time he really did swallow the nipple

Yes, I freaked the first time it happened to me to.

Now that he has opened his eyes... change him to a 4 hour schedule.

Call the day he opened his eyes officially his '5 week birthday'.

He is going to act a lot more hungry... demanding more and more... let him have up to 8% of his body weight per feeding.
He is also going to get a lot of belly fat. He will look a bit bloated. If you can press on his tummy before a feeding and feel space, he is not bloated.. just fat.

In a week from now his routine of eating up to 8% will stop, and he will start refusing some of it.
That will be a clue to shift him to a 5 hour schedule.
Each week he will play this same game.. voracious appetite for a week, then picky, requiring another change in meal times.
