Losing Tail Hair
Hello all! We currently have a 8 month old rescue, his name is Albert. He has great fur everywhere else, thick, healthy, no spots or thinning, but it seems like he is maybe biting off some of his tail hair? Or it stopped growing back? He has no red spots, no signs o irritation, we have done a mite treatment before and they've all gone away. He's perfectly healthy except for his lack of hair on his tail. I don't think he's trying to bite it off like in the wild, but haven't seen a tail look like this before.
We do not pull on this tail, or pick at his hair. He grooms himself a decent bit around that area though. Just wondering if this is normal or if anyone has had something like this before!
