Default Need rehabber for baby squirrel / Fla

My husband rescued a baby squirrel(who had lost it's mom) and brought it home about 2 months ago. I have nursed it back to health, but he is getting a little wilder and I feel he would be happier out in nature. I need to find a rehabber that releases them to the wild near Largo, Florida - about 30 minutes west of Tampa. I do not have a cage big enough to put outside and I'm not confident I would do it correctly. PLease help.

We have several members in Pinellas County. I hope they will see this. I am in SE Hillsborough County. I would be happy to release for you but you would have to bring him to my home. I am about an hour east of you. I am a caregiver for my elderly mother so I’m not able to leave for long.

Maybe someone closer will step up.

If not, I do have tomorrow and Friday off and would be willing to bring him to you. Thank you so much!

If you could message me your info that would be great. You're probably about an hour north of me. I just feel this little guy would be happier outside than in a cage. My neighbors have outside cats that frequent our yard and I don't want him to lose his first encounter!!

I have 8 release cages and can make sure the process of releasing is completed properly and that the baby is safe. PM me here and I will give you my phone number
