    Default Cut pumpkins

I have a Halloween jack o lantern pumpkin that after we cut sprayed with a diluted water bleach solution to prevent mold. After Halloween I put it outside. Today I noticed the wild squirrels nibbling on it. Because I sprayed with bleach solution will it hurt the squirrels?

Probably not good for the to have that. They'll go after it, even if it smells off. I would personally bring them in and throw them away.

Second what cava said. In the future, you can sprinkle cinnamon on the pumpkin to keep it fresh. Cut out the bottom, not the top, and this will help it too and keep it safe for squirrels.

Thank you. The pumpkins are now in the garbage.
