Default Need dosing help for suspected pneumonia??

I have what I'm assuming is a ~5-6 week old grey squirrel (he was rescued from a ditch last week 11/8 with both eyes open, bottom teeth, and lightly furred belly). His top teeth have erupted but are still short, can sit upright but doesn't yet curl tail, and he's getting more fur. I have been feeding him esbilac with plain Greek yogurt and crushed rodent block mixed in (started yesterday). Last year I successfully rescued and released a pair of siblings after a neighbor cut down the tree with their nest so this isn't my first experience with squirrels.

In the beginning he wasn't eating well but over the past 3-4 days has become more enthusiastic about food and more active in general. This afternoon (around 2pm) he aspirated while eating too excitedly and even after tipping him over continued to sneeze out formula for around 10 minutes. His activity level has been fine and he's still eating but I have noticed the clicking with each breath tonight.

I have tried to find Cipro but so far have been unsuccessful. I do have SMZ-TMP 400/80mg leftover from my dogs infected toenail and amoxicillin 875mg. Which one of these would be better in an emergency or as a prophylactic treatment? How to I administer it and calculate the dosage? He also has a sore on his hind quarter that I have been treating with betadine and neosporin but it has started to dry out and scab over. He weighed 115g tonight after feeding him 7mL of his formula mixture.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help! I'd hate to lose this little guy :/

Is the amoxicillin 875mg actually amoxicillin/clavulanate )contains 875 mg amoxicillin as the trihydrate and 125 mg clavulanic acid)?

That 875mg is usually the strength of Augmentin (Amoxicillin with clavulanic) versus plain amoxicillin. And if so, I would use the augmentin.

Also, id that Augmentin a tablet or liquid (if liquid please provide the concentrates (e.g. 875mg/5ml) and how long ago the water was added (it is only good for a couple weeks after the water is added to make the liquid).

The bottle just says amoxicillin 875mg tab HIK. It's a white tablet with "WW951" printed on it. The other one is also a tablet.
