Please help ! Issues with my little guy !

I found a flying squirrel in my backyard last week , I was told he is around 4 weeks old but he is very small . He has his eyes open , he is eating fine , using the restroom . But I am worried . To my knowledge he has never aspirated , but after he eats he makes a faint almost clicking noise . It's only at most 5 minutes after he eats & then it goes away . I started feeding him last week every 2 hours but then i felt like that was too much bc he was refusing so I went to every 3 hours and he eats 1cc to 1.5cc every feeding . I always keep with heating pad on , small syringe with 1cc nipple for feedings , and always feed warm food . Should I be worried of pneumonia or is this normal ? Please help !

How much does your baby weigh? What formula are you feeding? The 1 cc syringe is good. Does it have an o-ring? What type of nipple are you using?

AP usually presents with loss of appetite, lethargic, and a crackle or clicking from the lungs. Has your baby blown any formula out of its nose? Get some antibiotics on board in case he does aspirated. Baytril or Cipro, clavamox or augmenting are the best. AP babies die usually very quickly. Is your baby fussy about eating now that you spread out the feedings.
