    Default Help Dosing needed!

I have an approx 4 week old squirrel that I've had for 2 weeks. She is strong and healthy but I got a new syringe today due to the rubber gasket failing on the last one and she he sucked so fast that she aspirated out of her nose. I have cipro here and need help with dosing in the event something happens ( praying SO hard right now it doesnt). She weighs 2.9 oz any help would be greatly appreciated. I just can't let anything happen to this baby, she has my whole heart wrapped around that tiny little finger of hers

Squirrels are weighed in grams, 2.9 oz = 82 grams.
What is the milligram of the cipro? What form is it in?

Ok I'll send dosing in a pm, don't mix anything unless it's needed.
Snorting formula don't always end with aspiration pneumonia.
Just be very observant for any clicking, loss of appetite or lethargy.

BTW... What size syringe are you feeding with?

    https://www.henryspets.com/1-basic-setup/

This is a link to baby squirrel care. (6pages long)
Also, Henry's sells O-ring syringes that don't stick. You won't have the aspiration risk with the O-ring syringe. They are very smooth.
They sell Miracle nipples also that are awesome.

  6. Serious fuzzy thank you's to HRT4SQRLS from:
