Joey passed this in his urine this morning. It was his second urine of the morning. Is it something I should be concerned about? Or just something normal for male squirrels?

It’s very hard to see on a white paper towel, but it’s the white gooey blob on the paper towel. If I need to transfer it to a different color background for better identification, I will.

This just about gave me a heart attack from the first few words! Could it be like a sperm plug? I know it's normal for bearded dragons get them and I think I've read squirrels do too.

He doesn't need a female. He is REALLY LIMBER!!! LOL.

So here is MY wax plug story: When P was still a randy young man, I came home for lunch from work one day and found this pile of...clear rod-like things on the placemat I put his food on, in the middle of a wet spot. I was HORRIFIED - I thought they were some sort of parasite! I carefully transferred them to a plastic container and put some distilled water in there and tucked it in the fridge, thinking I was going to have to somehow get it checked. I returned to work, came to TSB, and wailed in horror at my discovery and the awful things that were probably eating my baby alive at that very moment! An old member here came on and told me what had happened.

I will never forget sitting at my desk, gazing off in the distance, thinking about the fact that I had squirrel sperm IN MY REFRIGERATOR - and thank God I used the distilled water - it would have really sucked to have preserved my squirrel sperm in lowly TAP water. OMG. And what a good thing it was that I lived alone...

My Squirrelie slept in the bed with us at night. He liked to sneak and Deposit them in my hair as I slept. I’d discover them the next day. Those things dry like cement!
