I can't seem to get any tape around that area as a splint. It's closer to his shoulder. He is no where near as energetic as his brother and has lost some of his appetite. I've moved him out of the cage he was in to limit his climbing. Does he just need rest? How can I tell if he has a fever (read where they can get one with a sprain)? Can I give him something for pain? Need suggestions on what to do for him.
You can give infant Ibuprofen for pain, swelling and inflammation.
We will need a weight on baby to dose this.
