Need help with UTI
Hello, I'm so excited I found the squirrel board. I have raised an released several squirrels over the years. I live in TX so normally fall babies that have their homes destroyed by hurricanes. On Sunday I received a call about a baby fox squirrel approximately 5 weeks old. The people believe his Mom had been killed a week before by their dog. He had an enlarged penis with a scab on the end and was dehydrated. I got the swelling down and the scab off. I've kept Aquifer on him so the scab did not return. Today he went from only urinating with help of warm water to constant urination. I believe he has a UTI. I have 500mg tablets of Cipro can anyone help me with dosage. He weights 4.1 ounces or 116.23 grams. Thank you for any help.
