I'm heartbroken to read this.
His little body was so compromised, I
don't think anything could have saved him.
Prayers were answered, though not in the way
we had hoped. He passed in your loving hands.
UDoWhat, yourself and this little one did all
that was humanly possible, you all tried so
hard, it was just too late.

You fought a valiant fight little one, just trying
to survive. I'm so terribly sorry.

I buried my sweet angel in a flower pot so I'll always have a piece of him with me. Devasted just isnt the word. He deserved to live, he was such a fighter. A piece of my heart went with him.. and yes I love the quote "don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened" I'm happy he came to me when he did, my heart needed him

Oh no, I'm so sorry Kaitlyn. I know you fought very hard for him and with him and it really breaks my heart to read this. As badly as this hurts, just remember that you were his angel and because of you, he knew the comfort of love and didn't pass out there alone and scared. Thank you for caring enough to give him all that you could. Godspeed precious little one.

Oh Kaitlynn, I know how much you loved him. Squirrels are such precious little creatures. They work their way into your heart and you will never look at another squirrel in the same way again. Just remember that once a squirrel has found you that others will find their way to you too. They know somehow that you will help them. Precious baby Squirt will be in your heart forever. Thank you for giving him your love.
