Default Becoming a Rehabber in Florida.

    Hello everyone!

Its been a while since I've been on here so I hope I'm posting in the correct place.

But anyway, I really want to get my actual certification to be rehabber. I've done my research and know that I have to take an exam and order a study guide. I'm not nervous about the exam as I am an (animal) Nutritional Sciences major going into my senior year. But I'm worried about the facility inspection. The website says they recommend having caging accomodations for 12 animals. The most squirrels I've ever had in my care at one time was 4 and that was crazy enough! I can't imagine 12! So I was just curious if anyone had trouble getting licensed even if they didn't have 12 cages? Or just advice about the process in general?

This is the website that I got my information from, let me know if it's not the right one! http://myfwc.com/license/captive-wil...on-facilities/

    It's appreciated! Thank you!

Tara, send a PM to Anne or crazy4squirrels. They are licensed in FL. They will have that type of information.
