Fall always lives up to her name unfortunately.
She decided to be courageous (as usual) and jump onto a box to try to jump onto me. The box fell and so did she. The box didn't land ontop of her (thankfully). I thought she was fine but then I watched her walk away she had a limp. She's not wanting to put any pressure on her back right leg. I picked her up and felt it, she didn't make any noise. But when I tried to stretch it out she was resistant and "yelped". After this, she ate and went to sleep as usual like nothing happened. Im just concerned because she acted like she was in pain when i tried to stretch her leg. The fall was about a 5ft drop and im thinking she landed on it wrong. There is currently no swelling or redness. She lays and sits normally. Just doesnt seem to want to stretch it. Could she have just pulled a muscle? Or maybe a ligament? Or does this sound more like a break or a fracture to anyone? Is there a time period I should wait before taking her to the vet to see if she starts using that leg more? Her diet is the same as usual. HHB, blueberries, carrots, snow peas, bananas, colliflower, broccoli, sugar snap peas, and the occasional strawberry. So I don't believe it has anything to do with MBD. Thank you, thank you, thank you in advance for any help.
