I have two three year old female red squirrels (small squirrels indigenous to Idaho mountains). They are sisters. Their diet consists of squirrel blocks with Henry's vitamins, red grapes, cucumbers, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, and pine cone seeds. They have a water bottle. They have been healthy and active for years. For the last few days, one appears to be straining to defecate and cries pitifully in apparent discomfort. Her sister shows no symptoms and was always the biggest and strongest of the litter. I would appreciate any assistance to alleviate the condition. Thank you.
