He has been nibbling on his rodent blocks on and off the last few hours. He gets in and out of his "nest" on his own to eat. I went and got the mineral oil for his ears and put that on. He bites my fingers and normally it doesn't really hurt but tonight he got me good and drew blood. How should I go about getting that to stop? With ferrets you pick them up by there hide. But idk about Squirrels...

You can try wrapping him up in a piece of fleece like a burrito or if all else fails wear some good gloves until he calms down after he gets use to you and your scent.
