I would agree with CritterMom that his bumps and lumps look much more like pox than any case of mange. And keep in mind that when there is an underlying health condition, the immune system is compromised and allows demodex mites to proliferate. when the immune system is working as designed, the normal few demodex mites that are always in the fur follicles are kept at very low numbers.
